Twitter Web Analytics is intended to provide website owners more data on the effectiveness of their Twitter integration. This is supported by BackType, corporate social analysis that Twitter acquired in July.

The tool is free and currently in beta. A small group of partners will get the access to the Twitter Web Analytics this week, and Twitter will roll it out to all owners of the website in a few weeks. API will also be released to developers.
